Indonesia FEALAC Youth Conference 2015: Public Conference What is FEALAC? FEALAC stands for Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation. It is an official forum for 36 countries from East Asia and Latin America to build mutually beneficial relationships on political and economic areas. The 36 member countries are Australia, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil,Brunei,Cambodia, Chile,China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Suriname, Thailand, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Vietnam. fealac What is Indonesia FEALAC Youth Conference? Indonesia FEALAC Youth Conference 2015 will be thefirstconferenceuniting youth from 36 countries from FEALAC member countries. IFYC 2015 will take place in Bandung, on 18-22 September. The main aims are to facilitate the establishment of social relations through interaction socialization, to build friendship among delegates, and to cultivate sportsmanship and positive mental attitude within each delegate. Under the theme “Empowering the Atlantic-Pacific Net,” youth will be allowed to learn and criticize the current global issues. There will be topics about youth empowerment, maritime issues, social entrepreneurship and online media development. The delegates will experience a series of workshops, publicconference, and a citytour of Bandung.   What is IFYC 2015 Public Conference? IFYC 2015 Public Conference becomes the gate of exposure for local public to get a closer look to what FEALAC is and a chance to take part in history of the first FEALAC youth declaration. There will be art performance, talk show about marinepreneurship and on-line empowerment, and the conception of FEALAC Youth Declaration. Meet and learn from Ridwan Kamil, the current Mayor of Bandung city, Anies Baswedan, the Minister of Culture and Primary & Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia, Christopher Cordova, prominent youth speaker from Mexico, Central America. Conference participants will also get the chance to engage and share experience with delegates from the 36 countries. The Public Conference will be held on Monday, September 21st 2015 from 13.00 until 16.35. There are 300 seats available with 150 quota for earliest registrants (first come, first served quota) and the other 150 for randomized registrants (lottery quota). Online registration for public conference participant will be open on Saturday, August 22nd 2015 at 13.00.
